James was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. Growing up in the valley of the Okanagan he spent most of his free time practicing gymnastics and weight training. Through his years of practicing, he suffered injuries which took a toll on his health. He got referred to a massage therapist and his mind was then opened to the world of preventive health care. Although his focus has always been about personal health and well being, now as a Registered Massage Therapist, he truly understands the importance of mobility and strength through functional movements.
James graduated with honours from Vancouver Career College in Kelowna, BC. He has a passion for Sports Massage Therapy and an interest in Neurological Conditions, spanning from multiple sclerosis to spinal cord injuries, and how these conditions change how the body functions. No matter what path that leads his clients to him, James always feels rewarded being able to assist them in their well-being and getting them closer to better health.
James believes that proper assessment and client education is imperative when it comes to giving his clients the best treatment outcomes. What drives him in his career is his eagerness to constantly learn and use his knowledge to support and help his patients with their unique goals.
